Vergie M. (Lefholtz) Tighe, 65, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Monday morning, September 14, 2015, at Davis Hospice Center surrounded by her loving family. Vergie was born August 13, 1950, in Mitchell, South Dakota, a daughter of Robert and Octa (DeShon) Lefholtz. Vergie will be remembered for her infectious energy and her love of life. She enjoyed visiting with her customers at the insurance agency, and for those who knew and loved her, she was always friendly and happy to be around. She was an amazing mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren, and she was also considered a “mother” by numerous others. Vergie is survived by two sons, Michael Tighe and wife, Brandy, of Cheyenne, and Kevin Tighe and wife, Amy, of Cheyenne; her mother, Octa Lefholtz of Omaha; a brother, Monte; and three grandchildren, Claire Tighe, Avery Tighe and Cooper Tighe. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Lefholtz, a brother, Mike; and a granddaughter, Dublin Tighe. A memory service will be celebrated on Sunday, September 20, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
