Daryl Allen Vater (59) of Alexandria, KY passed away on Saturday March 19th, 2016 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood Ky. Daryl was born on February 18, 1957 in Fort Thomas, KY son of David and Wanda Doyle Vater. Daryl worked at Trauth Dairy in Newport, KY, enjoyed riding his motorcycle and woodworking. In addition to his parents, Daryl is survived by his wife Wanda Marie Smyth Vater, Children Lindsey Vater, Darren Vater, Brother Dwight (Debra) Vater, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Wednesday March 23, 2016 at the Peoples Funeral Home- Butler, KY. Funeral service will held at 11 am Thursday March 24, 2016, at the Falmouth Baptist Church. Daryl’s final resting place will be in the Butler Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to the Daryl Vater Memorial Fund @ Peoples Funeral Home, 8340 Hwy 27 North, Butler, KY 41006.
