<p>Frances L. (Frannie) DeAntonio, 89, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of November 6, 2014 at her residence. </p><p><br></p><p>Born in Ellwood City, PA on August 23, 1925, Frannie was the daughter of the late Nazareno and Assunda Orcini Amadio. Preceding her in death on December 31, 1984 is her husband, Bert C. DeAntonio, whom she married on June 10, 1950. </p><p><br></p><p>Frannie was a member of St. Vitus Church. She was a longtime bowler and was a member of the Shenango Bowlettes. Frannie enjoyed Friday night card club with her friends, shopping with her daughters and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Frannie loved the times she spent with her family and cherished all their Sunday dinners spent together. She was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. </p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her three children, Eleanor DeAntonio of New Castle, Julie DeAntonio of Plantation, FL, and Barbara DeRosa and her husband Joseph of New Castle; her brother, Albert Amadio and his wife Clementine of Ellwood City; three grandchildren, Nicole Maniedeo and husband Nath, Andrew DeRosa and Jason DeRosa and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents and husband, Frannie is preceded in death by her two brothers, Orlando Amadio and Theodore Amadio, and three sisters, Lucretia Minocci, Ann Portugallo and Gloria Coloa. </p><p><br></p><p>Visitation is Sunday from 5PM to 7PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. A procession will leave the funeral home on Monday morning at 9AM for St. Vitus Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30AM, officiated by Father Frank Almade.</p><p><br></p><p>Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. </p>
