William Craig Obituary

William (Bill) John Craig 1923-2014 Passed away peacefully on November 5, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Toronto, at age 90. Better known as "Bobby" to his family, he was predeceased by his wife Frances Margaret (nee Brown), his sister Reta Langley (Dennis), and his parents Hugh and Mary. Born in London, Ontario, he worked at Northern Electric for 47 years retiring in 1989. He was a music lover (big bands, Beatles, jazz) and a sports enthusiast (favourite teams were the Leafs, 1935 Detroit Tigers and the "Raggedy Ass Dominions"). An avid traveller his whole life, he walked, climbed, drove, ballooned, sailed to all seven continents. He loved maps but he did not need them as he was a human GPS system. He is fondly remembered by his three children Lynda (John), Karen and Steven (Audrey); his six grandchildren Natalie (John), Mark, Graham, David, Kevin and Corey; one great granddaughter, Adriana; and the Langley clan. A celebration of his life will be held in the Chapel at Skinner and Middlebrook Funeral Home, 128 Lakeshore Road East in Mississauga at 1:30pm on November 13, 2014 (See www.skinnerandmiddlebrook.com). In lieu of flowers, the family would be honoured if you would make a donation in Bill's name to the charity of your choice.
