John Mangum

John Mangum age 56 a resident of Raleigh, MS. passed away on Monday November 3, 2014 at his residence. Visitation will be held on Friday November 7, 2014 from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Saturday November 8, 2014 from 9:00 AM until 10:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Luther Chapel Lutheran Cemetery in Pulaski, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Danny Dickerson and Rev. Carey Bass. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of arrangements. Mr. Mangum was a resident of Burns for the past 15 years and in Smith County, MS since 1971. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and loved to shoot his bow. He was an employee at Color Box in Pelahatchie, MS. at the time of his death. John was a 1976 graduate of Raleigh High School. Mr. Mangum was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Helen Mangum; one brother, Jim Mangum. He is survived by his wife, Mary Mangum of Burns, MS.; one son, Jason Mangum of Raleigh, MS.; two step sons, Loyd Richardson of Florence, MS., Robert Richardson of Scottsdale, AR..; one sister, Sue Moore of Raleigh, MS.; one brother, George Mangum of Wicker Mill, MS.; six grandchildren, Peyton and Wesley Mangum, Blake and Camden Richardson, Justin and Melanie Richardson. Pallbearers are Adam Mangum, Eric Moore, Brian Moore, Dean Applegate, Jonathan Sawyer, David Mangum. Honorary pallbearers are Terry Therrell, Freddy Grant, Dewayne Rawls.
