Theresa Ann Beavers
<p>Theresa Beavers, aged 79, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Royal University Hospital on October 30, 2014.</p><p>Theresa was born May 25, 1935 at the family farm near Zelma, Sk. to parents Gabriel and Gertrude Schaan. She attended Young school and later continued her education in Watrous when her family moved in 1951. Theresa’s first job was with Saskatchewan Government Telephones in Saskatoon and eventually transferred back to Watrous. On March 27, 1965 she married Gerald Beavers and shortly after had two children (Murray and Noreen). Later she worked at the Watrous Manitou printing office until retirement in 2004. </p><p>In the garden or around the house, Theresa worked hard, rarely sitting still. She was a huge fan of Rider football, curling and hockey and considered watching these events her holiday. Music, dancing, playing cards and visiting with friends were all activities she thoroughly enjoyed.</p><p>Most of all she dearly cherished her family and friends. She was eager to please and always put the needs of others before hers. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and held a special place in her heart.</p><p>Theresa is lovingly remembered by her husband Gerald, son Murray (Michelle), grandchildren Drew and Carter, and daughter Noreen Schreiner (Gary). Also left to mourn are her mother Gertrude Schaan, sister Agnes Bourgeault, nieces Colleen McKnight, Michelle Ullrich(Darren), nephew James Bourgeault, brother Gary Schaan(Kathy), nephew Curtis, niece Trisha(Curtis), brother in-law Bob Eltom(Eva), nephews Brett(Alison), Travis(Nicole)</p><p>Theresa is predeceased by her father Gabriel and her sister Clara Eltom.</p><p>It seems so very unfair to lose one who was able to bring so much joy to those around her. We will miss her big smile, generosity, compassion and care.</p>Obituary
