Mrs. Christina April Tiller Breeding, age 38, of Council, Virginia, passed away Wednesday (October 29, 2014) in a Kingsport, Tennessee hospital. Born April 19, 1976 in Richlands, Virginia, she was a daughter of Carter and Patricia Tiller of Council. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of Word of Victory Fellowship. She was a 1994 graduate of Council High School and had received an Associate’s Degree in Mental Health from Southwest Virginia Community College. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Joe Breeding. In addition to her parents, survivors include two daughters, Sydney Paige Breeding and Cassie Amber Breeding both of Council; one sister, Melinda Ann Lane and husband, Craig of Council; one brother, Jeffrey Holland Tiller and wife, Deanna of Council; nieces and nephews, Hannah Faith Lane, Christian Seth Lane, Caleb Ian Carter Tiller, and Haley Morgan Tiller; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred and Pat Breeding of Davenport; sister-in-law, Tracy Cook and Justin of Abingdon; brother-in-law, Coty Breeding of Florida; special friend, Lora Tiller Presley; a host of family and special friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Sunday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Revs. Rod and Sharon Wicker and Rev. Jeff Tiller officiating. Interment will follow in the Breeding Cemetery at Davenport. Pallbearers will be Larry Owens, Gary Owens, Rick Owens, Greg Deel, Rick Breeding, and Josh McGlothlin. Honorary pallbearers will be John Rife, Mickey McGlothlin, William P. Harris, Bill Keene, Jim Presley, and Victor Breeding. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in the form of donations to the April Breeding Memorial Fund c/o Honaker Funeral Home P.O. Box 1620 Honaker, VA 24260. Friends may call at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Saturday, where an evening service will be conducted at 7:00 PM with Rev. Roy Lee Wilson officiating.
