Cordella Moser, age 73 of Wellston, Michigan died Wednesday October 22, 2014 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse city, MI. She was born December 25, 1940 in McKee, KY the daughter of the late Hubert and Carrie Mae (Mays) Fields. She graduated from Brea High School and Brea College with an associate’s degree. On September 28, 1980 she married John Moser in Harper Woods, MI. She was employed for over 30 years at White Castle and worked at various other jobs. She enjoyed sewing and playing card games on the computer. Cordella is survived by her husband, John Moser; 3 sons, Raymond (Peggy) Kaufman, William Kaufman, Jackie Kaufman, Jr.; 2 daughters, Norma (Frank) Adkins, Amy (Tim) Kaufman-McLarnen; brother, Odell Fields; 2 sisters, Ann Speakman, Brenda Fields; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 7 siblings. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Lakes Funeral Home in McKee, Kentucky. Burial will be in Fields Cemetery in McKee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 27th beginning at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be directed to family to assist with funeral expenses. Lakes Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements. Local arrangements were entrusted for Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manistee.
