Jonathan Richard “Ricky” Edwards IV, a resident of Pelahatchie, MS passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest, MS. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 1:00 PM from the graveside of the Pelahatchie City Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS. Officiating will be the Honorable Kent McDaniel and Bro. Guy Hughes. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements. Ricky was a lifelong resident of Pelahatchie and a member of the Pelahatchie Baptist Church. He was a member of the Point Loma Marina and an avid outdoorsman who loved the ocean. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was so proud of his granddaughter, Mae. He was the grandson of the late sheriff, Jonathan Richard Edwards, JR. Ricky is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jonathan Richard Edwards, JR., in 1980. He is survived by his wife, Lisa J. Edwards of Pelahatchie, MS; parents, Jonathan “John” and Docie Edwards, III of Pelahatchie, MS; one son, Joseph Richard “Joey” Edwards and wife Laura Suzanne of Dallas, TX.; one sister, Due Edwards McKinion and husband Johnny of Pelahatchie, MS; one brother, Sam Edwards and wife Holli of Melbourne, FL.; one grandchild, Mae Edwards; he was loved by many nieces, nephews, mother-in-law Carolyn, brothers and sisters-in-laws, plus a large extended dear family.
