Charles M. Viggiano

Charles M. “Chuck” Viggiano, 78, of Neshannock Township passed away the morning of October 23, 2014 at his residence. Born on September 3, 1936 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Rocco P. Sr. and Philomena Venditto Viggiano. Surviving him is his loving and adoring wife of 48 years, the former Suzie Crockett, whom he married on August 20, 1966.

Charles retired from his job as a clerk for the Axle Division of Rockwell International. He was a member of the New Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church and the F & AM Lodge of Craft #433. Charles served on the Board of Directors and the Credit Committee of Family 1st Credit Union. He also served as a Director on the New Castle Sanitation Authority for 25 years and as the Authority’s Secretary for 15 years. Charles and Suzie always loved to travel to their children’s homes and finding and dining in new restaurants. He loved to golf and to watch the Steelers and Penguins.

In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by his children, Gregory C. Viggiano and wife Sin Ae of Springfield, VA, Lynda Reiff of New Castle, and David M. Viggiano and wife Michelle of New Castle; and grandchildren, Abigail Viggiano, Alexander Viggiano, and Natalie Viggiano. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Rocco Viggiano, Jr.

Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd.

Services will be conducted Monday at 12:00pm at the funeral home, conducted by Rev. Chris Curtis.

Interment will take place at Parkside Cemetery.
