Daniel John Lemanski, 60 of Kalamazoo passed away on October 23, 2014 at Spectrum Health Rehab & Nursing Center in Grand Rapids. In following Dan’s wishes he has been cremated. On Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 10:30 AM, there will be a graveside funeral service at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bronson with Father Richard Fritz from St. Mary of Assumption Catholic Church officiating. Daniel was born on December 15, 1953 to Albert “George” and Helen (Dunalski) Lemanski in Sturgis. Dan worked as a purchasing agent for All Phase Electric in Kalamazoo for 25 plus years before retiring. Dan will be remembered as a strong-willed and opinionated person. He enjoyed being outdoors and was known to pull a prank or two once he knew you. Dan loved spending time in his flower garden, where he had a “green thumb”. He also liked driving his favorite car (BMW) and playing golf. Daniel also had a soft spot for cats. Mr. Lemanski was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Stephen Tod Lemanski; and several aunts & uncles.
