TABOR, Glen - Peacefully at his home on Wednesday October 22, 2014 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Joan M. (nee Harris) Tabor for over 58 years. Dear loving father of Cheryl Doidge and her husband Douglas and Glen Tabor and his wife Gail. Loved grandfather to Bill (Lora) Tod, Angela Wilson (Pete White), Crystal Tanner (Randy Roberts), Glen Tabor, David Tabor (Lori) and great grandfather to Mariah, Bailey, Ethan, Brady, Glen, Lily, Billy, Porter and Greg. Dear brother of Robert (Val) Tabor, Flossie Tanner and Marj Taylor-Devries. Glen is also survived by his many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his siblings; Bev, Loretta, Paul, Glenna, Mary and Wayne. Glen co-founded Tabor Bros. Tree Service with his brothers Bob and Bev in 1969 where they owned and operated the business together until Glen’s retirement in 1996. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday October 27, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1:30 pm with Pastor Lloyd Bennett officiating. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
