Thomas L. Warner, 73, of Winchester, died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Winchester Medical Center. Mr. Warner was born March 20, 1941 in Winchester; the son of Marshall Lee Warner, Sr. and Evelyn Keckley Warner. He served for 22 years with the Virginia National Guard 3rd Battalion 116th Infantry Division. He worked as a machine operator for Crown, Cork and Seal for 39 years. He married Jean Elizabeth Butts on October 7, 1962 in Williamsport, MD. Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Thomas Eugene Warner of Winchester and Sherry Elizabeth Dugan of Winchester; a special grandson, Michael Lee Dugan; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brothers, Marshall Lee Warner, Jr. and Lester Warner. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
