Joseph Windell Houghton, 53 of Winchester VA, died Friday, October 17, 2014 in Winchester, VA. Mr. Houghton was born April 20, 1961 in Warren County, VA to the late Oliver Windell Houghton and Ruth Virginia Miller. Mr. Houghton was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Eagles Club. On July 4, 1999 Mr. Houghton married his loving wife, Vicky Houghton. Along with his wife and mother, Mr. Houghton is survived by five children, Judith Ann Wright, Vicky Houghton, Effie Houghton, James Linaburg all of Winchester and Jason Wright of Martinsburg, WV; two sisters, Ruth Houghton of Shenandoah, VA and Charlene Houghton of Winchester; three brothers, Jonathan (Donna) Houghton, Jacob Houghton and Oliver Houghton all of Winchester; and five grandchildren.
