James R. Wooley

<p>James R. (JJ) Wooley, 44, of New Castle passed away on October 15, 2014 at his residence. Born on December 30, 1969 in New Castle, he is the son of Robert and Victoria Ambrose Wooley of New Castle. Surviving him at home is his beloved wife of 23 years, the former Julie Anne Wycoff, whom he married on September 6, 1991. </p><p><br></p><p>A 1989 graduate of Lawrence County Career and Technical Center, James worked for Carpenter Local 171 in Youngstown, OH. He belonged to Christ the King Parish. An active sportsman, James loved football, golf, and bodybuilding. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents and wife, James is survived by his children, Hanna, Jay, and Emma Wooley, all at home, and sister, Dana Wooley of San Francisco, CA. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Flora and James Ambrose, and paternal grandparents, Sarah and Leslie Wooley. </p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held Sunday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. </p><p><br></p><p>A blessing service will be held Sunday at 1:00pm at the funeral home, officiated by Deacon John Carran of Christ the King Parish. </p><p><br></p><p>Interment will take place at St. Lucy Cemetery.</p>
