RICCO, Mary (nee McCaugherty) -

Peacefully passed away into Gods Hands on Thursday October 16, 2014 at the age of 81 years. Dearly beloved wife of Luigi (Lou). Loving mother of her daughter Mary Louise (nee Ricco) and her husband Brian Oliver, and her son Marc Angelo Ricco. Cherished grandmother of Andrew Oliver and his wife Angela, Jonathan Oliver, and Elyse (nee Oliver) and her husband William Moodie. Devoted GG Momma to her great-grandchildren Rhylie, Rhyder Michael and Addison. Dear sister of her brother Joe McCaugherty and her sister Kay and her husband Jimmy Ruddy. Predeceased by her brothers Ralph, Bill "Red", Jimmy, and Frank. She will be truly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mary was an exceptional women with great determination and an abundance of love in her heart. She loved her St Benedict Church family and dedicated her time to several ministries at the church, included St Vincent de Paul Society, The Faith and Family Program and as well as helping bereaved families as the church's founding funeral co-ordinator. Mary was an Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister. She brought a beautiful smile as she marched in the Toronto Santa Claus Parade for 9 years. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, (North of Rexdale Blvd.), on Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Benedict Church, 2194 Kipling Avenue, on Monday October 20, 2014, at 10am. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
