Lawrence Finisecy

Lawrence W. Finisecy, 82, of Colonial Heights, VA, died Saturday, October 11, 2014 in Woodstock, VA. Mr. Finisecy was born May 20, 1932, in Washington, DC; the son of Ernest Lawrence Finisecy and Olga Regina Buscher Finisecy. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He retired as the Eastern Region Safety Officer with the U.S. Geological Services. He was a member of A.A.O.N.M.S. Fairfax, VA Shrine Temple serving as Potentate in 1992, Hiram Lodge 21, Alexandria Scottish Rite, Lodge of Perfection, serving as Vererable Master in 1993, The Lion’s Club, Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge and VFW. He was also a member of Round Hill United Methodist Church. He married Joyce Lee Payne on November 3, 1973 in Oakton, VA. Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, William Lawrence Finisecy and his wife, Diana of Frederick, MD, Mark Ernest Finisecy of La Plata, MD, Sharon Louise Faccini and her husband, Ernest, of Andover,MN, Michelle Annete Willingham and her husband, Thomas of La Plata, MD, Brook Howard Finisecy and his wife, Shawn of Petersburg, VA, and Gary Lee Finisecy of Midloathian, VA. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Finisecy. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
