Isabella "Bella" Ramey Obituary

Isabella “Bella” Ryan Ramey, age 10, of the Big A Mountain section of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Sunday (October 12, 2014) at a Bristol, Tennessee hospital. Born December 13, 2003 in Bristol, Tennessee, she was a daughter of Curtis Ryan and Sarah Yates Ramey of the home. A lifelong resident of the area, she attended Swords Creek Community Baptist Church. A 5th grade student at Honaker Elementary School, she enjoyed drawing, dancing, volleyball, swimming, and hunting with her daddy. She loved being outdoors, spending time with her many friends, and always had a brilliant smile to warm your heart. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Earl Ramey, Jr., maternal great-grandmothers, Kathleen Yates and Sue Price, and paternal great-grandparents, Margaret Lee, Earl Ramey, Sr., and Edna Ramey. In addition to her parents, survivors include her brother, Wyatt Ramey of the home; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Connie Yates of Honaker; paternal grandparents, Doris Mabery and Edward of Floyd County, Virginia; Aunts, Amanda Yates, Roxanna Ramey, and Amanda Hale; one uncle, Mike Ramey and wife, Amy; maternal great-grandfathers, Lee Yates and Willard Price; paternal great-grandfather, Earl Lee; special “adoptive” grandparents, Randall and Nola White; cousins, Alex, Madison, Sophie, Erin, Michael, Kevin, and Andrew; many friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday with Rev. Jeff Hess and Rev. Arnold King officiating. The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 5:30 PM Wednesday.
