THOMPSON, Susan E. - Peacefully at her cottage near Wiarton, Ontario on Sunday October 12, 2014. Susan Evelyn Thompson (nee Stoddart) in her 70th year was the beloved soulmate and wife of Keith Edward Thompson for over 45 years. Loving mother of Sharon (Andy) Orlowski, Paul (Heather) Thompson, Ann (John) Swerdfeger and Jacqueline Thompson (David Donovan). Loved grandmother of Samuel, Mathew, Cassie, Luke, Allie, Evan, Lincoln, Nora and Teddy. Dear sister of Don (Phylis) Stoddart. Also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family members. Susan was an active member of the New Apostolic Church, Woodstock. She graduated from Victoria Hospital, London in 1966 as a Registered Nurse then went on to work at the Woodstock General Hospital and then at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday October 17, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1:30 pm with Jamie Apfelbeck officiating. Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Liver Foundation would be appreciated.
