Mr. Larry Street, age 58, of Bristol, Virginia, formerly of Honaker, Virginia peacefully departed this life on (Sunday) October 12, 2014 at the Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol, Tennessee following a brief illness. Born February 27, 1956 in Richlands, Virginia, he was a son of the late Stacy Street of Honaker, Virginia. He was a disabled coal miner and attended Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Abingdon, Virginia. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and James and three sisters, Wanda, Betty Jo and Janie. Survivors include his wife, Pam; one daughter, Amanda; step-daughter, Stacie; one brother, Johnny; four sisters, Nickie, Donna, Phyllis and Barbara; three grandchildren, Logan, Jaelyn and Madison and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday with Rev. Eugene Miller and Rev. Bill Crawford officiating. Interment will follow in the Tiller Cemetery at Council, Virginia. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the gravediggers. The family will receive friends after 6 PM Tuesday at the Honaker Funeral Home where an evening service will be conducted at 7 PM with Rev. Wayne Baldwin officiating.
