RINK: Raymond Henry April 21, 1939 – October 11, 2014 Raymond was born on April 21, 1939 in Kenaston. Raymond was predeceased by his mother and father, Theresa and Henry; as well his sisters Kathleen, Marie, and Margaret and his brother Walter. Raymond was survived by his loving wife, Myrna, his children, Sheryl, Theresa and Kevin, his grandchildren Brittany, Ashley, Riel, Ryan, Erica, Vanessa, Cody, Nathan, Morgan, Andrew and Alex and his great granddaughter Sarah, as well as his sisters Muriel, Alice and his brother Ken. Raymond was raised on a farm East of Kenaston where he attended Muse school in his early years. He moved to Watrous with his mom and attended school as well as helped with the family farm. Once finished school, he farmed with his brothers until he married Myrna in 1966. They settled on their own farm and raised their 3 children. Raymond enjoyed working with his limousine cows, miniature horses, his deer, his Canadian geese and his Norwegian elkhound (Lady), among other various animals. Raymond enjoyed playing ball on the Fairdale ball team, as well as attending dances and visiting with the neighbours. In 2005, Myrna and Raymond retired to Saskatoon where they made their home at Circle Drive Alliance. He took great pride in spending time with his grandchildren, friends and the rest of his family members. The Funeral Service will be held in Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church on Wednesday, October 15th at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Colette Baker officiating. Interment in Watrous Cemetery.
