Ralph O’Dell Sheets, 85, of Stephenson, VA died Saturday, October 4, 2014, at his home. Mr. Sheets was born September 1, 1929 in Marion, VA; the son of Lester and Bessie Sheets. He married Lucy Ann Dinges on May 15, 1951 in Winchester, VA. Mr. Sheets was a farmer and worked for Henry Miller Cline for over 50 years until his retirement. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lucy Sheets; his daughter, Nancy A. Rinker and husband, Leslie, all of Stephenson; his brother, Leroy Sheets, of Bunker Hill, WV; two grandchildren, Ralph J. Rinker and Leslie T. Rinker, Jr., and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester with Rev. Michel Q. Mayton officiating. Burial will follow in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
