Larry Paul McGarrity, 45, of Crenshaw, MS, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, MS. He was a member of Jesus Name Lighthouse Church and a retired carpenter. A devoted husband and father, he loved fishing, gardening, working crossword puzzles and grilling. Mr. McGarrity is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Lisa Anglin McGarrity, one son, Brad McGarrity both of Crenshaw, MS; one sister, Gayla Johnson and four brothers, James McGarrity, Jr., Marshall McGarrity, Shorty McGarrity, and Michael McGarrity. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Earl McGarrity, Sr. and Bonnie Jean Mailer. The family has planned a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Crenshaw Church of God.
