Mark Thomas Peters passed away October 1, 2014 at his home in Hood River, Oregon. He was 55 years of age at the time of his passing. Mark was born December 4, 1958 in Hood River, Oregon to Harrison Peters and Charlotte Delia (Regan). He graduated from Hood River Valley High School and then began the business Mark Peters Construction. He married Kathy L. (Millsap) at Odell Baptist Church in Odell, Oregon on November 13, 1976. Mark was a member of Faith Bible Church, the National Rifle Association, Cascade Co. Company, Hood River Gun Club. In his spare time he also enjoyed learning about history, teaching hunter safety, participating in a reenactment group, and he loved motorcycles. Mark is survived by his wife Kathy Peters of Hood River, Oregon; daughters Katie and her husband Beto Nolasco of The Dalles, Oregon; Charlotte Peters of Hood River, Oregon; Victoria Vasquez of The Dalles, Oregon; son Mark H.T. Peters of Hood River, Oregon; seven grandchildren Albert, Emily, Avagale, Abraham, Karina, Anthony, and Kaiden; brothers Antony Peters and Dereck Peters of Hood River, Oregon; parents Harrison Peters and Charlotte Delia (Regan). A Funeral Service with Reception following will be held 11:00a.m., Friday, October 10th, 2014 at Faith Bible Church (1889 Belmont Drive, Hood River, Oregon 97031). Interment following the Reception will be at Idlewilde Cemetery (980 Tucker Road, Hood River, Oregon 97031). Contributions can be given to Providence Hospice of the Gorge and Faith Bible Church of Hood River, Oregon.
