Thomas "Tom" A. Leishman Obituary

Thomas “Tom” A. Leishman, 60, of Senatobia, MS passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at North Oak Regional Medical Center in Senatobia. He was a very active member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Senatobia Rotary Club, and the O.B. McClinton Foundation. An active supporter of community activities, he generously supplied music equipment to music activities including May Fair and was an active volunteer at The Baddour Center. He was a music teacher, member of Sand Hills Opry, Barbwire Band member, and owner of Tobie Town Music, for over twenty years. He was also a graduate of Mid-South Horse Shoe Academy and was a licensed farrier. Tom is survived by his wife, Beth Leishman, of Senatobia, MS; one daughter, Rachel Lamb (Jason) of Strayhorn, MS; two sons, Billy Leishman and Andy Leishman, both of Senatobia, MS; four sisters, Terry Andreychok, Marion Di Brienza, Regina Pace, and Ruthanne Leishman; one brother, Jim Leishman; two step-daughters, Sarah Bunce and Kate Bunce, both of Senatobia, MS; and three grandchildren, Nick Lamb, Tyler Lamb, and Ashley Lamb. Memorial contributions may be sent to Northwest Mississippi Community College, Fine Arts Division, Senatobia, MS. 38668. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home – Senatobia Chapel has charge of arrangements.
