Anthony D. 'Tony' Harris, 54, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at St. Ann’s Hospital. He was born August 22, 1960. Tony was a devoted family man and friend who never met a stranger. He especially enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, and his Cleveland Browns. He was employed by The United States Postal Service for 21 years and was an U.S. Army veteran. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jeannette Harris and father, Sam Winifield, grandmother, Ida Pritchard and brothers, Theodore and Samuel “Sam” Harris. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 17 years, Barbara, daughter Candace Harris, step-daughters, Kimberly (Billy) Mack, Tyann (David) Washington, Tyronza (Henry IV) Walton, grandchildren, Michael, Bailey, Charleston, Tyree, Pilar, Henry V, David, Jamika, and Jaylen, siblings Fredrick, Reginald, Clifford, LeDarryl, Elisabeth, and Edith Harris and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved ones. Cremation has been chosen per Tony’s wishes.
