SATHER: Dennis Ray Nov. 3, 1948 - Sept. 22, 2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Dennis was born to Harold and Sylvia Sather on November 3, 1948 in Watrous, SK. He is survived by the love of his life, best friend and beautiful wife Lillian (nee O'Dell) Sather; his two sons; Terry (Haraley) their children Amanda, Jesse, Taylor and Kyle; Darin (Bernadette) and their children Megan and Brayden; his parents Sylvia and Bob Taylor; brothers Garnet (Roxanne) Sather, Ron Sather, Orval Sather and Kevin (Kim) Taylor; sister-in-law Shirley Sather and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his dad Harold, mother and father-in-law Lillian and Horace O'Dell. His first love was his family; he loved them more than words can say. His second love and passion was farming. He loved being out in the field. He would start his day off going down to make coffee at the Senior’s Center and talk with his friends on coffee row. Then head out to the farm and talk about what needed to be done with his best friend and employer Greg and Laurie Meddins. A Memorial Tea and will be held on Friday, September 26th at 2:00 p.m. in the Community Hall in Young, SK. For those so wishing donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated.
