Glenn Yee Ott, 57, of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014, in the M. S. Hershey Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Born in Pittsburgh on November 4, 1957, he was the son of Dr. William Yee Ott and Lydia Lee Ott of Pittsburgh. Glenn was a Systems Integration Manager with Deloitte Consulting. He was a 1975 graduate of North Allegheny High School, Wexford; and a 1979 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where he received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. Glenn was an active member of the Susquehanna Valley Evangelical Free Church, Harrisburg, where he served as an Elder and played guitar in the Praise Band. Besides playing the guitar, his hobbies included playing tennis, skiing and biking. An inspiration through his strong faith and service, Glenn was a true gift to so many people. In addition to his parents, Glenn is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tamira Lim Ott, whom he married on June 22, 1980; one daughter, Carlene M. Gunsior, wife of John Gunsior of Philadelphia; two grandsons, Luke Gunsior(2y) and Logan Gunsior(1mon) both of Philadelphia; and three brothers, Dr. Gary Ott of Beaverton, OR, Dr. Gordon Ott of Wexford, PA, and Grason Ott of Fremont, CA. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at 10 AM in the Susquehanna Valley Evangelical Free Church, 6433 Union Deposit Road, Harrisburg, with The Rev. Randy Hunt, his pastor, officiating. Friends will be received at the viewings in the church Monday, September 15, 2014, from 6 to 8 PM, and Tuesday from 9 AM until time of the service. Interment will immediately follow the funeral service in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 6701 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg.
