Obituary
William D. “Bill” Rose, age 80 of Frankfort, died Monday, September 9, 2014 at home with his family at his side. He was born March 18, 1934 in Windber, Pennsylvania the son of the late William Earl and Margaret Alma (Gindelsberger) Rose. He married Rena M. Dunsmore on August 15, 1959 in Detroit. He served as Principal in the Huron Valley Public School system. Bill’s primary interest was volunteer work at the Benzie Area Historical Museum and he rarely missed the Frankfort High School football games. He is survived by his wife, Rena; two sons, Bill and Bob; a daughter, Sandy (Nick) Smith, and nine grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions in Bill’s name may be directed to the Benzie Area Historical Museum.
