Steven M. Damrell age 25, son of Paul Damrell and Jamie Himes, died Tuesday Sept. 9, 2014 in Berea. Steven was a self-employed construction worker and was a lifelong resident of Berea, living most of his life with his grandmother Della Casteel. Steven is survived by his parents: Paul (Shannon) Damrell, and Jamie Yarber (Roy) Himes, his daughter Taylor Elizabeth Damrell, his brother Michael Wagers, his sisters Melissa Yarber, and Stephanie Damrell, his paternal grandmother Della Casteel, paternal grandfather Bill Damrell, maternal grandfather James Yarber, his uncles Mitchell Damrell, Earl Yarber, and James Michael Yarber Jr., and aunts Marsha Sparks, and Laura Biggs, and his ex-wife Brittany Gadd. Steven was preceded in death by his paternal step-grandfather Kenneth Casteel, and maternal grandmother Charlotte Camper. Funeral services will be Saturday Sept. 13, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Lakes Funeral Home with burial in the Damrell Cemetery at Flat Gap. Visitation will be Friday from 6-9 pm at Lakes Funeral Home.
