Berneice Mailloux

Berneice A. Mailloux, 80, of Monroe, IN, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014 at her residence. She was born on May 13, 1934 in Elliot, North Dakota to the late Melvin and Noma (Imboden) Strahm. On October 20, 1953 she married Neil Mailloux. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and also of its Rosary Society. She was a homemaker and also worked at C.T.S. for 17 years. Berneice is survived by her husband of 60 years Neil Mailloux of Monroe; 2 sons Randy Mailloux of Hoagland and Kim (Laura) Mailloux of Monroe; 2 daughters Linda (Tom) Kirchner of Monroe and Cindy (Mike) Heiser of Decatur; 2 sisters Bernadine Foreman of Berne and Marwayne Grant of Decatur; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and 4 sisters. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home with a reciting of the Holy Rosary at 2:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church with visitation 1 hour prior in the St. Mary’s Parish Hall. Father David Voors will be presiding and burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorial may be made to St. Mary’s Building On Our Heritage or Family Life Care.
