Donnie E. Haralson, 77, of Atkins, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014, at his home. He was born November 17, 1936, in Atkins, son of the late Jack and Erma Cooksey Haralson. He was of the Free Will Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Stanley Haralson, Bob Haralson, and Douglas Haralson. He is survived by his wife, Linda L. Wright Haralson; 2 sons, Kevin Haralson and wife Melissa, and Jeff Haralson and wife Bobbi; sister, Deane Childers; grandchildren, Nathan Haralson and wife Sara, Bryant Haralson, Kayla Haralson, Camren Haralson and Rachel Haralson; and 2 great-granddaughters, Adrian Haralson and Finley Haralson. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 3, at Lemley Chapel. Burial is in Oakland Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday.
