Loretta Jane Alexander, 55, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 17, 2014 at her home in Senatobia, MS. Born in California on January 11, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Richard Dean Ring and Roberta Jacqueline Johnson Ring. She was a veteran of the United States Army. Known for her compassionate and caring ways, she unselfishly devoted much of her time as a volunteer of the Wings Cancer Foundation. She had a tender heart for all animals, loved taking care of her chickens, and was passionate about animal rescue. A loving and devoted grandmother, she was affectionately called “Mee Maw” by her grandchildren, whom she loved and adored. Loretta is survived by her husband, Randal Alexander of Senatobia, MS; one daughter, Alexis Maddock-Tarleton (Kenneth) of Coldwater, MS; one son, Aarron Jeffrey Alexander of Spokane, Washington; three grandchildren, Trent Thomas Maddock-Tarleton, Loralei Anna Tarleton; and Atticus Jeffrey Alexander. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
