John Pacholski Obituary

John Stanley Pacholski of Coventry, son of the late Marion and Rose Pacholski, passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2014. He is survived by his wife Sharon Jones Pacholski, his son Stephen Pacholski along with his wife Sierra, and his beloved grandson Carter. He is also survived by sisters Rosemarie Pacholski and Margaret Krawetzky, brother Marion Pacholski, nieces Krista Pacholski, Jennifer Krawetzky, Kate Krawetzky, and nephews Peter Krawetzky and David Krawetzky. He will also be missed by a large extended family, special neighbors, and many friends. John graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1972 and was a long time employee of The Travelers Insurance Co. He had recently retired from the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services. John actively participated in Coventry Boy Scout Troop 65, serving as Assistant Scoutmaster and Committee Chairman. He was a member of the Board of Trustees of The Booth & Dimock Memorial Library for 27 years, where he served as Treasurer, Vice President, and President. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family for calling hours at Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home, 2665 Boston Turnpike (RT44), Coventry from 4-7 pm Friday, August 22, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Church, 1600 Main Street, Coventry on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 11am. Burial will immediately follow in Center Cemetery, Boston Turnpike, Coventry. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Boy Scout Troop 65, 2256 Main Street, Coventry, CT 06238, or The Booth & Dimock Memorial Library, 1134 Main Steet, Coventry, CT 06238.
