DAVID DeJARNETT

David Allen DeJarnett Sr., son of David Young and the late Joyce Young was born February 19, 1971 in Columbus, OH. He was the second born of three children. David was peacefully called into eternal rest at home on Saturday August 16, 2014 surrounded by the love of his family. David accepted Christ at an early age at Church of Christ Apostolic Faith. Later as an adult, he rededicated his life to the Lord. He attended Columbus Public Schools and was an employee at Maaco Auto Body Repair Shop & Car Painting for 10 years up until his illness. David never met a stranger – he was loved by everyone he encountered. He had a certain charisma that made you want to be in his presence. David had a love for music and was very talented. For many years, he participated in singing groups & bands that performed all around Ohio. He enjoyed watching sports, especially football as well as movies, and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by mother Joyce Young. He leaves to cherish his precious memory wife Penni DeJarnett, son David DeJarnette Jr., daughters Tiara Wilson, Brooke DeJarnette, Davonna White, Brittany DeJarnette, Savannah DeJarnett & Logan DeJarnett; 8 grandchildren; father David (Linda) Young; brother Randall (Monica) DeJarnett all of Columbus and Jeffersonville respectively; sister, Tara Young of Round Rock, TX.; A host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.
