Judy Montagna
Judy C. Tanase Montagna, age 77, of Milford, beloved wife of Louis Montagna Jr., passed away on Thursday August 14, 2014 at Arden House in Hamden . She was born August 11, 1937 in New York City, daughter of the late Peter and Veronica (Kiako) Tanase. Judy worked as a bookkeeper for several companies including Milford Hospital. She was the former president of Foran High School PTA. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Mark A. Jordhamo of Trumbull, Dennis A. Jordhamo and his daughter Cheyann of Milford, Lu-Ann Montagna of Wallingford, Louis Montagna III and his son Michael of Portland, CT., sisters Gloria Walley of Milford, Patricia Watert and her husband Walter of PA., also survived by several niece , nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by nephews Gary, Gerald and Jeffrey. Calling hours are Tuesday August 19th 2014 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. A prayer service will begin at 7:00pm with Pastor L. Kenneth Fellenbaum officiating. Burial will be private.
