Mrs. Virginia Fuller Perkins, age 82, of the Wysor Valley section of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Saturday (August 9, 2014) in a Lebanon, Virginia hospital. Born March 15, 1932 in Drill, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Marion and Dora Brown Fuller. A lifelong resident of the area, she was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending her time gardening, canning, and quilting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Perkins, and one brother, Elmer Fuller. Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Barnhart and husband, J.C., and Connie Middleton and husband, Randall all of Honaker, and Nina Miller and husband, Steve of Swords Creek; four grandchildren, Jennifer Dye and husband, Roger, Angela “Barney” Barnhart, Christopher Monk and wife, Becky, and Travis Miller and wife, Chessney; two step-grandchildren, Tracy Perkins and Chad Miller; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Dye and Dawson Dye; two step-great-grandchildren, Tyler Miller and Dylan Miller; one brother, Clyde Fuller of Hampton, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews, special caregivers, Vada Baldwin and Betsy Newton. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Divine Home Care nurses, staff, and caregivers for their loving care. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Monday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Edward Tiller, Rev. Phillip Cook, and Bro. Bill Newton officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Ketron Memorial Gardens in Lebanon, Virginia. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 1:30 PM to go in procession. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
