Faye (F. A.) Randolph Cooper, age 85, 108 Sam Miller Road, Coffee Ridge Community, Erwin, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014, in the Center on Aging, Erwin. She was born in Burnsville, NC, where she lived until 2007 before making her home with her daughter, Jane Wilson, in Erwin. Mrs. Cooper was the daughter of the late Alvin David Randolph and Lennie Jane Parsons Randolph. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Cooper was a member of Little Creek Holiness Church. She enjoyed visiting and praying with people and walked miles and miles to minister in prayer and take meals. Mrs. Cooper also enjoyed gardening. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Cooper in 1995; two sons, Keith Ray Cooper and Kenny Reese Cooper in 1979; one granddaughter, Chandra Cooper in 2002; four brothers, Ray, Wade, Paul and Alvin Randolph, Jr. and two sisters, Mae Tipton and Hattie Stevens. Mrs. Cooper is survived by one son, Charles Thomas Cooper and wife, Mary Etta of Bowling Green, MO; one daughter, Jane Wilson and husband, Steve of Erwin; three sisters, Genevieve Johns of Burnsville, NC; Elizabeth Cooper and husband, Wade of Marion, NC; and, Molly Gregory Randolph of Clinton, SC; three grandchildren, Brent Cooper, Travis Wilson and Beth Rogers; five great grandchildren, Kaedon Wilson, Cameron Cooper, Maquinna Wilson, Alyssa Cooper and Charles Francis Rogers. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P. M., Sunday, August 10, 2014, from the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter, Jane Wilson, 108 Sam Miller Road, Erwin. Brother Lou Franklin, Brother Austin Rogers, and Brother Dayton Lewis will officiate. Music will be provided by June and Jim Jones, Steve Wilson, and Lou and Patsy Franklin. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve and Gary Cooper. Active pallbearers will be Travis Wilson, Brent Cooper, Clay Charles Phillips, Randy Randolph, Doug Wilson and Jon Miller. Interment will follow in the Lewis Randolph Cemetery, Little Creek Community, Burnsville, NC.
