Thomas J. McManus, 51, of Coventry, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, July 31, 2014. He was born August 12, 1962 in Hartford, to the late Joseph and Anne (Ramsey) McManus. Tom was self employed as a Telecommunications Specialist. He was an avid sports enthusiast with a wonderful sense of humor. Tom was also a loving husband, father, and proud uncle of seventeen nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife Diane (O’Hara) McManus; his daughter Caitlin McManus; his sisters; Kathy Habersang, Karen Willis, Colleen Dunn, Clare Morrison, Margaret Dahlberg and Meghan McManus. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Joseph. Relatives and friends may join the family on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 4 – 7 pm at the Coventry- Pietras Funeral Home, 2665 Boston Tpk (Rt.44) Coventry. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place, Saturday, August 8, 2014 at St. Margaret’s Church, Madison. Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Madison.
