Bobby-Alan Kendal Hale, age 21, of Honaker, Virginia passed away Tuesday (July 22, 2014) at his home. Born February 11, 1993 in Johnson City, Tennessee, he was a son of Melissa Ann Dye Hale of the home and the late Johnny Leon Hale. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a 2011 graduate of Lebanon High School. He enjoyed playing video games and loved NASCAR-especially his favorite driver, Tony Stewart. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Patricia Ann Dye and one uncle, Jackie Hale. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include two brothers, Christopher Shannon Bennett and fiancée, Carrie Myers of Linton, Indiana and Jason Lee Hale and girlfriend, Corie Dye of Honaker, Virginia; maternal grandfather, Jessie Lee Dye of Swords Creek, Virginia and paternal grandparents, Bobby and Lois Hale; aunts and uncles, Paul and Lana Chapman of Swords Creek, Virginia and James and Patty Hale of Honaker, Virginia; several special friends and extended family members also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 PM Friday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eugene Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until the funeral hour.
