Margaret Barnhart

Margaret J. Eisenhauer Barnhart, 91, of Spring Creek Care Center, Swatara Township, and formerly of the village of Union Deposit, passed away Friday, July 18, 2014, in the home. Born in Chambers Hill on October 22, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Louisa M. Wolfersberger Eisenhauer. Margaret was a devoted homemaker. She was a 1941 graduate of Hershey High School. Margaret was a lifetime member of Union Deposit United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling to Las Vegas, and listening to Elvis. A kind and caring woman, most important to Margaret was spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Barnhart, on September 16, 2008; a grandson, Anthony Keckler, Jr.; two granddaughters, Sandy K. Barnhart and Nancy Riddle; a great grandson, Shaun Riddle; and a great great grandson, Marcos Riddle. Margaret is survived by one son, Robert Dennis Barnhart of San Diego, CA; three daughters, Patricia Ann Hetrick wife of James L. of Annville, Darlene Mae Keckler of Harrisburg, and Rose Marie Ebersole wife of James of Wellsboro; one brother, Darvin R. Eisenhauer of Grantville; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 25, 2014, at 11 AM in the Union Deposit United Methodist Church, 34 West Main Street, Hershey, with The Rev. JoAnn M. Darrow officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Township. Friends are invited to the viewing in the church Friday from 10 AM until time of the service.
