Patricia Wenger

Patricia Wenger, 73, of Atkins, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Brookridge Cove Care Center in Morrilton. She was born January 25, 1941, daughter of the late Dodson W. and Freda F. Fischer Ragan. She loved quilting, cross-stitching and embroidery, and enjoyed babysitting little children. She was an avid reader and a really good cook. She is survived by her husband, Frank P. Wenger of Atkins; 2 sons, Tony Wenger and wife Kristi of Paragould, and David Wenger and daughter Chloe of Atkins; 2 brothers, Ronald Ragan, and Richard Ragan and wife Nancy, all of Sherwood; 2 sisters, Wanda and husband Clyde Frost of Sherwood, and Ramona and husband Larry Tatom of Butler; and 4 grandchildren, Abby, Katie, Molly and Jason Wenger, all of Paragould. Funeral services are 10:30 AM Monday, July 21, at Atkins Church of the Assumption with Father Ernest Hardesty and Father Jim Burnie officiating. Private burial in Atkins Catholic Cemetery will follow at a later date. A rosary will be held at 5:00 PM, Sunday, at Lemley Chapel with visitation to follow until 7:00 PM. Pallbearers are Adam Wenger, Hank DeSalvo, Danny DeSalvo, Kevin Van Pelt, Bryan Ragan, Sean Ragan, Lane Tatom and Jeff Wenger. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Atkins Church of the Assumption, P.O. Box 337, Atkins, AR 72823, or to Arkansas Hospice, 2405 E. Parkway Suite 3, Russellville, AR 72802.
