Stephanie Joan Inslee age 93, passed away at Hawks Ridge in Hood River, Oregon on Monday, July 14 surrounded by her loving family. Stephanie was born August 6, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the first of four children born to Joseph Wesolowski and Mary Johara. Stephanie met and married Victor Dean Inslee on August 28, 1945. She then moved to Isabel, Kansas where they farmed for several years before moving west. They drew a homestead in Idaho and had a potato farm there. Later they moved to Hood River, Oregon and The Dalles, Oregon. After her husband passed away she moved back to Hood River, Oregon. To this union came two children: Linda Lee and Bonnie Lynn. She worked for Diamond Fruit and Duckwall Cannery. Mom was very fun loving. She loved to polka and we always had a great time shopping and going to lunch. Stephanie is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Lynn (Jim) Williams of Hood River, Oregon and Linda Lee (Steve) Langer of Albion, Idaho; two grandchildren, Ryan Inslee of Hood River, Oregon and Thad (Kirsten) Langer of Reno Nevada; and three great grandchildren, Teagan, Kendall and Delaney. Stephanie is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters and one brother. The family is very grateful for the employees at Hawks Ridge Assisted Living Center and Providence Hospice of the Gorge for their very loving care for mom. We will miss you mom, but we know you are in a better place.
