HAMILL, Doris Evelyn- Peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Sunday July 13th 2014. Doris E. Hamill of Woodstock in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late John “Smitty” Hamill (1951). Loved mother of Elizabeth “Bette” Johnson and her husband Robert Granger and their children J.T. (Erin) and their children Makakilo and Lilia; Matthew, Kimberley and Daniel (Monica); and mother of Kathy Andrew and her husband Bill and their children Carolyn (Scott) and their children Rachel, Jack and Michael; David (Sarah) and their son Jacob; Ben (Elana) and Jenny (Michael). She was predeceased by her daughter Margaret Toon, her son-in-law Robert Toon, and by her siblings Bruce (Bess) Goodwin, Beatrice (Reg) Kennedy, Marion (Jack) Karn and Bill (Mary) Goodwin. Special and cherished aunt of many nieces, nephews and their families. Doris taught most elementary grades for over 40 years with the Oxford County Board of Education. Friends may call at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday July 18th 2014 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday July 19th 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment at Harris Street Cemetery, Ingersoll. If desired, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, Woodstock Public Library or the C.N.I.B. would be appreciated.
