Janette Stewart Obituary

Janette J. Stewart, 79, passed away peacefully at Windward Gardens with her family by her side. She was born on Christmas day 1934 in Houlton the daughter of Leland and Irene (Clark) Jellison. Janette grew up in Wytopitlock, Maine and attended local schools and was a graduate of Wytopitlock High School. After high school she married Roy Stewart in July 1955. The two lived in various places around the state and spent a majority of time in Caribou. She was a homemaker and raised 5 kids a full time job and then some. Janette enjoyed bowling and was a member of various leagues over the years. She was full of life and love and she was glad to be able to lend a helping hand when it came to her grandchildren. Janette was always generous with her time and was happy to do so. She was fun loving and would always tease the people she was close to. Janette also enjoyed playing practical jokes on people and always loved to see people smile. She enjoyed word searches and in her later years arts and crafts. One of her favorite activities was going to church. The feeling she got while at church was something she truly enjoyed. She felt home within the walls of her familiar sanctuary. She never swore and was a role model that anyone would have been happy to have. She led a simple and happy life. She was predeceased by her loving husband Roy Stewart Survivors include her children Cindy Gammon and her husband Martin of Warren, Me David Stewart and his wife Carol of Orlando, FL Minda Badger and her husband Kevin of Bangor, Me Brent Stewart of Orlando, FL Audra Gordon-Stewart and her spouse Dorothy of Ellsworth, Me Sister Leanne Bourgeois and her boyfriend Chub of Oakland, Me Brother Brent Jellison and his wife Darlene of Corinth, Me Grandchildren Willis Gammon and his wife Casey Jeremy Gammon and his girlfriend Shawna Kathryn Kelly Mckayla Lindsay Kara Lindsay Christen Stewart Great Grandchildren Ryder Alexis Jocelynn Colby Autumn Jayden As well as several nieces and nephews and also a special Aunt Patricia Johnson A time of visitation will be held on Friday July 11, 2014 from 6 to 8 at Hall Funeral Home 949 Main St Waldoboro, ME 04572. A graveside service will be held at Maine Veterans Cemetery 163 Mt. Vernon road Augusta, Me on August 4th, 2014 at 10 am in the morning.
