Stanley J. Bloniarz died peacefully on Friday July 4, 2014 at Rockville General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was 81 years young. Stanley now joins his beloved wife of 55 years, Jeannette Bloniarz, in their eternal rest. He was born in Rockville, CT the son of the late Charles & Sophie (Kobak) Bloniarz. Stanley leaves behind his daughter and son-in-law Helen Marie & Edwin Clements, Jr. and his son and daughter-in-law Christopher & Ann Bloniarz, his grandsons & their spouses Brian & Jaclyn Clements, Jonathan & Eliana Clements, Kevin Clements and his fiancé Amber; grandsons Michael & Steven Bloniarz; his great grandsons Brayden & Landon Clements and Jacoby Clements. He also leaves behind his brothers Chester Bloniarz & Joseph Bloniarz, his sister Charlotte Bielski, his brother-in-law Edward Prytko, his sister-in-law & brother-in-law Leona & Thaddeus Jurkiewicz and many special nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, Stanley was predeceased by his daughters Stasia & Anita Bloniarz as well as brothers John, Walter, Edward and Frank Bloniarz; and his sisters Anna Popick, Lucy Roszczewski and Mary Stachowiak predeceased also by sister-in-law Helen Prytko. He was a United States veteran of the Korean War. He was a devout parishioner of St. Joseph Church and volunteered for many functions including the annual summer carnival and Polka Fest. Stanley was instrumental in organizing fund raisers for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and was the president of the TKB Club in Rockville for many years. Stanley enjoyed and lived his life fully by Polka Dancing with his perfect partner and wife, as well as bowling, fishing, golfing and spending time with his family. Stanley was employed by United Technologies for over 40 years. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Foxhill Rehabilitation Center and RGH for their care and concern during Stanley's recent hospitalizations. Special thanks to Dr. Richard Orris for the many years of dedicated care given with gentle and genuine concern to Stanley and the family during each interaction. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect Street, Rockville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, Rockville, at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2014. Burial will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Rockville.
