Billie Jean Firman, 58, of Edinburg, PA, passed away on July 2, 2014 at her residence. Born on July 15, 1955 in New Castle, she is the daughter of Delores Walker of Edinburg and the late Edward Ryan. Also preceding her in death on November 15, 2012 is her late husband, Terry Firman, whom she married on February 14, 1992.

Billie Jean worked as an assistant manager for Tic Toc Food Mart in New Castle, PA. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren and attending their various activites. She also loved going to the beach and gardening, and she enjoyed travelling.

Billie Jean is survived by her son, Robert J. Hobel and wife Mandy of Mt. Jackson, PA; sisters, Janice Heasley of Bessemer, PA and Judy Ryan of New Castle; and grandchildren, Zachary, Jakob, Logan, and Gavin Hobel.

A celebration of life service will take place Saturday at 2:00pm at the North Beaver Township Pavilion in Mount Jackson, PA.
