Tammy Knauber

Tammy A. Williams Knauber, 46, of Hershey, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pottsville, on August 19, 1967, she was the daughter of Carol A. Watkins Williams of Williamstown and the late David C. Williams of Wiconisco. Tammy was a real estate agent for Brownstone Real Estate Company, Hershey. She was also a certified Holistic Health practitioner, dedicating her free time to researching holistic health and wellness options and organic foods for herself and her family. Tammy was a 1985 graduate of Williams Valley High School, and attended Penn State University. She received her certificate in holistic health from the Mt. Nittany Institute of Natural Health. Tammy was an Army National Guard veteran having served during Desert Storm. She was a member of the American Legion Post 239, Williamstown. The most important thing in Tammy’s life was her family, especially her daughter, Kyla. Tammy was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, daughter and sister; she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her mother, Tammy is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Ronald E. Knauber, Jr., whom she married on May 21, 1994; her daughter, Kyla J. Knauber; her brother, Jeffrey D. Williams husband of Suzanne M. of Middletown; three nieces, Taylor, Eden, and Eva Williams; and a nephew, Casey Williams. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 11 AM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. Larry Snyder, pastor of Living Legacy Church of Hershey, officiating. Friends are invited to a viewing in the funeral home on Thursday from 10 AM until time of the services. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to establish a fund for Tammy’s daughter, Kyla, c/o Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, PA 17036.
