George Miller

George J. Miller, 94, of Fort Myers, FL, and formerly of Morris and East Greenville, PA, passed away June 22, 2014 in the Gulf Coast Medical Center, Ft. Myers. He was the widower of Viola (Clemens) Miller. Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late James W. and Kathryn E. (Koons) Miller. George served his country honorably in the Army during WWII. He was the owner of the former Miller Sports Center, Pennsburg. George was the Clerk of Courts for Montgomery County from 1980-1992. He is a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pennsburg and the Mount Pleasant Methodist Church, in Morris, PA. Surviving: is a daughter, Sharon Faye, wife of Jerry Uhrmacher, of Fort Myers, FL; grandchildren: Matthew Allen of Kansas City, MO; and Holly, wife of Justin Trent, of Fort Myers, FL. George’s first great grandchild, Emma Allison, will be born in September. He was pre-deceased by a daughter, Nancy Hope Miller in 2003; and brothers, Earl and Herbert Miller. Services will be held at a later date. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
