East Millinocket – Dorothy J. Spearrin, 82, passed away Monday, June 23 2014 at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born August 6, 1931 in Millinocket, the daughter of Bernard and Phyllis (Bamford) Mackin. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 64+ years, Richard E. Spearrin, Sr. of East Millinocket; three children, Richard Spearrin, Jr. and wife Marlene, Terry Spearrin and wife Justine, and Tammy Vazquez and husband Ricardo; five grandchildren, Laurie Leavitt and husband Kurt, Richard M. Spearrin and wife Laura, Brandon Spearrin and wife Lori, Andra Dickey and husband Steve, and Amy Voisine; seven great grandchildren, Ashley Leavitt, Ryan Leavitt, Josh Spearrin, Katelyn Spearrin, Colby Spearrin, Emma Comparato, and Avery Spearrin; a brother Robert Mackin; and several nieces, nephews, and Cousins. At Dorothy’s request, funeral services will be private. Interment will be at East Millinocket Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, East Millinocket.
